1. Check that your phone supports magnetic charging
Magnetic wireless chargers are built around Apple's MagSafe-style magnet ring, which started with the iPhone 12. If you have an iPhone 12 or newer, the phone will snap into place and line up with the charging coil automatically. Older iPhones and most Android phones can still charge wirelessly on a Qi pad, but they will not "stick" to a magnetic stand without a magnetic case or adapter ring.
